How to Create a Salutation

We have unique relationships with some of our ministry partners. We want to be sure that we refer to them the way they expect us to refer to them. 

And example of this could be someone whose formal name is Alexander, but we have known this ministry partner since we were young and we know them as Alex. Alex would expect us to use the name Alex, not Alexander, so we want to represent that personal relationship well.
